Oil

Along with water I think oil is our most important food. Most people ingest too much of the wrong oil and not enough of the right oil. This results in fat people with dry skin, hair and nails.
If you reverse the balance and eat only good oils you will find your natural body weight and have silky skin, hair and nails (along with a lot of other beneficial things, including better moods and more flexible limbs).
Very generally, my definition of bad oils are fast food, processed food, hydrogenated oils, or any oil that has been far removed (usually from too much heat) from its core source. Some bad oils never had a source to start with and are purely synthetic.
Good oils have not been subjected to heat and are still close to their source. Butter, olive oil, nut oil, fish oil, flax seed oil and ghee are all examples of good oils.
However, what I have noticed in my life is interesting. I only eat the Foco Diet, which means I have very little meat in my diet (a high source of oil) and no exposure to bad oil foods like fast foods. The result is that I have a very low oil diet. This can be a problem. We need large amounts of oil to remain healthy (yes, that means the right oils keep you slim).
Many vegetarians suffer from this. They look pale and dry. Their hair is full of split ends and looks like straw. Their skin is pasty. Dandruff is a problem.
So it is important to really pile on the good oils. I personally don't think you can eat too much of it. Gobs of butter, olive oil on everything, handfuls of nuts (high in oil), nut oil, fish oil sipplements (lots of them) - it is really important.
This will keep your brain (which is mostly fat) well fed and your body well greased. Your skin will be flexible and silky. Your hair will have life and bounce. Good oils - get them.
